If it wasn't one thing, it was another. Whatever the situation might have been, it was giving him bad business and that was something he always did get aggravated about. For the last few days, he'd been trying to sort out these disappearances and using the familial spells for protective barriers he needed to dissuade this place of portals. When he wasn't dazedly going off into his own world, imagining what sort of things Muraki might be accomplishing in his own sadistic tendencies.

That thought of Muraki made him stiffen, and the owner of the o-chaya moved a hand to the side of his head, hissing under his breath. In all honesty, he had tried his best to concentrate on the task at hand but he kept failing miserably. Knowing that not only was Muraki -gone- but possibly never returning...

Of course, he wasn't expecting any miracles. Sighing, Oriya sent off his accountant with a wave of his hand and stepped back into the o-chaya, heading towards the inner gardens within the back pavillion of the KouKakuRou and pausing by the laptop he'd managed to achieve for himself and sighed. He didn't quite like these modernities, they clashed too much with his interiors, but he supposed he had to keep up with the times.

Muraki, where are you...? he thought. He'd lost his friend once.. damned he would be if he lost him again. Though knowing Muraki's trail of thoughts and his way of working, there was a fair likely chance of that occuring.. could he really be gone for good?

Grimacing, Oriya pulled on an upper robe over his kimono-clad form and moving his hands under the opposite sleeves, he walked into the cool evening, staring up at the moon that seemed larger than normal.

'It's almost like back then..' thought Oriya. The large silver moon, a death's knell and warning in it's beauty.

Oriya found himself smirking as he lowered his head, shaking it before walking up ahead to the shrine in the garden, taking an incense stick from the holder to the side and using the lantern's light to light it, remaining before it. Oriya wasn't quite a religious person but he had understood far too much to not be spiritual in some way.

And tonight.. the spirits were clearing out of here.

The moon just seemed larger.

.. it took Oriya five seconds after that to realise it wasn't the moon he'd watched his entire life.

Neither was the garden. His hadn't been destroyed.

.. Great. Is it the Shinigami at play again..? he wondered. But that seemed too easy..

Sighing, he got up to observe his surroundings and frowned.

Who died and sent him to hell now?

Muraki.. he thought angrily, but wanting to make sure, he began to approach what looked like the mad skyline of Tokyo..
